Our History

James Armstrong & Associates, Inc. was officially founded in December, 1999 by Jim Armstrong in Woodstock, Illinois. Initially, this national and international media rep firm opened its doors with just one consumer magazine assignment.

Since that time, this Suburban Chicago-based company has evolved into what it has become today: a Central US and Canada powerhouse serving the needs of a limited number of clients, who have sought a senior level of media representation which would not ordinarily be available to them.

James Armstrong & Associates, Inc. is a member firm of the National Association of Publishers' Representatives, which seeks to serve a selected number of consumer and/or trade magazine publishers, newspapers, on-line opportunities, research assignments, sponsorships and/or trade shows.
